Scan Code Saver Launches Mobile Marketing Business Opportunity and Mobile Classified Advertising Network

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., June 26, 2012 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — “A coupon is something a consumer presents to a restaurant, store or service business for a discount,” says Seth Schiller, CEO of Scan Code Saver. “Companies like Groupon and Living Social don’t distribute coupons. They sell on-line discounted certificates. There’s a big difference. I believe business owners are getting tired of giving away all the profit in those deals just to get a one-time customer. Statistics show that most consumers who purchase discount certificates buy once and usually don’t buy again. Bad business, if you ask me!” Seth exclaims.

Schiller believes he’s created a far easier and better way for local business owners to communicate value to their customers through his mobile websites and mobile marketing campaigns. “I think American consumers are growing tired of giving out personal information over the Internet. And it’s a hassle to give information through mobile devices just to get a local deal. Consumers shouldn’t have to put up with daily ‘spam’ e-mails or pay ‘up front’ to purchase anything.”

Using Scan Code Saver branded mobile websites and local classified networks; consumers are the ones in charge. Offers appear on their mobile phones immediately after they scan one of our branded QR (quick response) codes; redeemable any time, without compromising their time, privacy or the safety of their mobile phone.

Here’s how Scan Code Saver works:
All Scan Code Saver mobile classified networks and mobile website marketing businesses are locally owned. Our independent affiliates offer branded mobile websites; mobile marketing programs and smart phone classified advertising networks within their local business community. Business clients advertise their unique Scan Code Saver branded QR code. New consumers “on the go” scan the code, find and redeem the offers.

Only official Scan Code Saver QR codes contain the company’s EYEball™ seal of approval; a consumer’s assurance that they can freely scan the QR code, safe in the knowledge that it’s virus-free and secure. Consumers scan our codes without having to enter personal information then gain instant access to Scan Code Saver’s easy-to-navigate mobile content classified networks and businesses custom mobile websites. National EYEball branding assures consumers a predicable scanning experience, no matter which city they visit or Scan Code Saver branded code they scan.

“Why our business works is simple,” explains Mr. Schiller. “We provide small businesses a fast, effective and inexpensive way to stay competitive and advertise value using cutting edge mobile websites and mobile marketing programs. ‘On the go’ consumers value their time; like to protect their identity and love saving money. Now both business owners and customers win when they use Scan Code Saver mobile website marketing services.”

Charities benefiting from a percentage of the auction fees will be: The International Surf Museum, The Surfrider’s Foundation, Wounded Warriors Project and CHOC Hospitals, according to Seth Schiller, producer of the event.

“Since Southern California was so critical to the birth and explosive growth of America’s surf industry, it’s no surprise it’s also home to some of the most rare and valuable surfboards in the world,” says Schiller.

Surfing is one of the world’s greatest ocean sports. It spread around the world throughout the late 1950′s, 60′s and 70′s. The surf era between the late 1950′s through the late 1970′s represented the fasting growing period in the industry and spawned a number of surf legends that are still well known and respected in the industry today.

We could get bids in excess of $60,000 for this board, making it one of most expensive and valuable surfboards in the world.

We will also be auctioning off many personal boards owned and ridden by some iconic surf stars and local surf shop owner’s like surf champion Rockin Fig. Internationally renowned surfboard shaper and designer, and Huntington Beach local, Bob “The Greek” Bolen will be shaping and designing one of his famous 60′s “ELIMINATOR” especially for sale at the auction. Bob Ballou, “Car Salesman to the Surf Stars,” will also have a rare “Red Fin” surfboard put up for auction at this charity event.

“In order to assure a successful event and raise the most amount of money for charity, we’re inviting every famous, wealthy celebrity and sports figures we know that surfs, including Matthew McConaughey, Adam Sandler, Jeff Bridges, Anthony Keidis, David Beckham, Cheryl Crow, Cameron Diaz, Minnie Driver, Reese Witherspoon, Mine Suvari, Jack Johnson, Ashton Kuthcher, Lindsey Lohan, Helen Hunt, Jennifer Aniston, Lady Gaga, Chris Isaak, Eddie Vedder, Ben Harper, Andrian Greier, Eddie Cibrian and of course Jimmy Buffet and Gerard Butler,” says Schiller.

ISLA Hosts Fundraiser in Long Beach to Benefit Lifeguard Training Initiatives in Dominican Republic and Nicaragua

International Surf Lifesaving AssociationHUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., March 13, 2012 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — On Wed., March 14 and Thurs., March 15, 2012, International Surf Lifesaving Association (ISLA) will be hosting a special fundraiser at the Original Roadhouse Grill in Long Beach, located at 7391 Carson St. The purpose of the fundraiser is to raise critical funds and awareness for ISLA’s training initiatives in the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua later this month.

Founded in 2008, ISLA’s mission is to reduce the number of drownings worldwide by building a culture of water safety. Comprised of volunteer lifeguards, the organization provides training, medical supplies, disaster relief, and emergency personnel to beach communities around the world.

In November 2011, ISLA traveled to the Dominican Republic to train volunteers from various agencies within the country in lifesaving and lifeguarding techniques. As part of the initiative, ISLA conducted an intensive three-day Ocean Lifeguarding Training, which included a First Aid and CPR practical exam, physical instruction, written test, and non-buoy and buoy rescue practical exam. Twenty-nine lifeguard trainees completed the rigorous training course and received Basic ISLA Lifeguard Certification, the first professional lifeguard certification in the Dominican Republic now required for a lifeguard to become certified.

Two ISLA volunteer lifeguards will return to the Dominican Republic in late March to continue the second phase and to begin the third phase of its initiative to create permanent lifeguard agencies that guard the public and private beaches of the country.

In late March, fourteen ISLA volunteer will also conduct the first phase of its Ocean Lifeguarding Training in Nicaragua.

Thanks to local hotels and other agencies, courses and accommodations are provided to participants and ISLA instructors at no cost.

“We are excited to promote a sustainable culture of water safety in both Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic with our Ocean Lifeguard Training,” said ISLA President Henry Reyes. “We look forward to serving both communities and are confident that these courses will have a positive impact.”

Newest Addition Added to Bonne Foi Anti-Aging Line is Lab Tested and Manufactured in Southern California

Bonne Foi BeautyHUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., Feb. 22, 2012 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Bonne Foi Beauty Products, an anti-aging skin care line, today, releases its Nourishing Face Cream which will further enhance the Bonne Foi line.

Created primarily for night time use, the Nourishing Face Cream will nourish, rejuvenate and moisturize your face, firming your skin and improving its overall appearance. Those with particularly dry skin or those who live in very cold climates may wish to use it as a day cream as well.

Its main ingredients include white shea butter, beeswax and seaweed extract. In clinical trials, shea butter was found to moisturize the outer layer of skin, protect against climate and UV aggressions, and prevent wrinkle formations. The seaweed extract, found in many of our products, is what helps firm skin, restore elasticity, and improves the complexion providing a more youthful skin tone.

Bonne Foi’s Nourishing Face Cream does not contain any petroleum by-products or mineral oil as these ingredients can clog pores, suffocate skin, and cause premature aging.

The chemist that formulated the Nourishing Face Cream had been developing anti-aging products for more than a decade when he began developing the Bonne Foi line of products. The formula is based on the theory developed by Dr. Peter Agre, who won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2003 for his ground-breaking discovery of aquaporins which is used in the Bonne Foi product line. Aquaporins allow anti-aging and nourishing ingredients to penetrate skin down to the cell level.

Bonne Foi anti-aging skin care products are specially formulated to work for people of all ethnicities and on a wide variety of skin types and tones. This Nourishing Face Cream completes our night-time skin care regimen.
